Jarrod Attwood

Director/ Mortgage & Finance Broker

With over 25 years in the finance industry, Jarrod has a wealth of experience in mortgages, asset finance, and helping clients make confident lending decisions. Before founding JAYA Finance & Mortgages, he spent a decade as a leading partner for a larger firm in Moorabbin, guiding clients through home, vehicle, and business loans with practical, tailored solutions.

Jarrod holds a Certificate IV and Diploma in Mortgage Broking and is a proud member of the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA). Known for his down-to-earth approach, Jarrod takes pride in helping clients feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their finance journey. Outside the office, you’ll often find him spending time with kids or out on his dirt or road bike enjoying the outdoors.

Steph Marsh

Lead Loan Processor

Steph has been an essential part of the JAYA Finance & Mortgages team for a number of years, bringing a friendly, outgoing, and supportive approach to everything she does. As Loan Support Manager, she ensures clients’ loan applications run smoothly from start to finish, keeping everything on track behind the scenes.

She’s passionate about making clients feel confident and informed throughout the process and is always ready to go the extra mile to help.

When Steph isn’t at work, she loves spending time with her family and enjoying a good movie marathon.

Kasey Marsh

Loans Processor

Kasey is new to the finance industry but brings a real passion for learning and helping clients feel informed and supported every step of the way. In her role as Client Liaison, she works closely with clients to answer questions, provide updates, and make the process as smooth as possible.

Her approachable and supportive nature helps clients feel comfortable and confident throughout their finance journey, and she’s always eager to learn and grow as part of the JAYA team.

Outside of work, Kasey loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoying the little moments that make life special.

James Ludlow

With over 10 years of experience in private wealth and accounting, James brings a deep understanding of financial strategies and lending solutions tailored to the Australian market. Specialising in personal, asset, car, mortgage, debt consolidation, and business loans, he’s passionate about helping clients find the right finance solutions to reach their goals.

James takes pride in providing advice that’s ethical, transparent, and easy to understand. His practical approach and industry knowledge make him a trusted guide for clients navigating all stages of their financial journey.

When he’s not helping clients, he can usually be found hanging out with his cat Gemma, and recharging for the next big finance challenge.

Why should I use a Mortgage Broker?

Mortgage Brokers are there to help you find the right loan whether it be from the major banks, smaller lenders or other sources. We have a broad range of products (more than any single lender can offer) which means we can do all the legwork to find the right loan for you.

Are your mortgage brokers licensed and accredited?

All of our Mortgage Brokers are accredited and members of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia. They are extremely professional and provide exceptional service across a range of lending options.

What kind of interest rates can you offer?

We take look at a wide range of products available from Banks, Credit Unions & other lenders across the country. This means we can search thousands of products and make sure we're always recommending the best suited home loans for our clients requirements & objectives.

Is there a cost to using a broker?

In most cases, no, our service is free to you. We're paid a commission by the lender once your loan settles, so there’s no direct cost for our advice or assistance. We’ll always let you know upfront if there’s ever a scenario where a fee may apply.

Can you only help with Home Loans?

We can help with Home and Investment Loans, Construction Loans, Car Loans, Personal Loans, Commercial Loans, SMSF Loans and much more. If you're looking to borrow to buy something, we can probably help.

Can you help First Home Buyers?

We love helping First Home Buyers! We're experts at the entire process and can help you get the right Home Loan. We're also across the various schemes to help First Home Buyers such as the First Home Owners Grant and the various stamp duty exemptions available.
